I like her – she’s clearly not your average teen auditionee, all dumbed down and bland to the point where no-one cares. She’s got a good voice that could improve with coaching, but you’re right, her attitude is the key ingredient.

I think so as well. The coaching may be good, but you can’t alter someone who just doesn’t have the ingredients to make anything interesting. Skylar does, so I’m watching her.

Gotta say, I’m disappointed the reaction is so negative to her. She’s the only country contestant in a long time who isn’t trying to be fucking Carrie Underwood. Like, that’s worthy of live shows over the rest of these bitches alone.
